Nazma's Story

Nazma, Class IV, Marwari School, Naya Katra
9 year old Nazma comes from a destitute home. In her initial days at home when other girls were busy chit chatting, Nazma secluded herself to draw on the floor with chalks.  She is good in sketching and artwork, and often drew her talent on the floor. Her friends around noticed her chewing chalks due her poor feed and deficiencies. She was pushed to go to school and there she was been given Mid Day Meals with minimum requirement of 450 Kcal and 18gms proteins. She has gained her will to go to school and participate in art competitions.

A bright & cheerful Nazma says “I don’t have parents so Allah has arranged ISKCON (Mid-day Meal) to give me food”.
